Description: This is a backhaul search facility for truckers and shippers. It is built as a web-based interactive application. Truckers can specify the availability of trucks with parameters such as the states they are proposing to travel from and to, the dates and the characteristics of the truck. Shippers can specify what type of truck they are looking for and the other parameters such as the states and the dates. System matches the requirements and displays the match list. Truckers and shippers can also indicate if they have regular needs; system emails the matching truck details to the shippers if matching trucks are posted; it sends matching shipper details to truckers also.
